Lenovo’s first proper gaming smartphone is also rumored to be backed up by a massive 5,050mAh battery and 90W fast wired charging.
Lenovo has been nothing but busy trickling down the phone’s key features and specifications in the wild lately. The latest to surface is a shared image by Lenovo that reveals the hotly-anticipated phone’s front panel design.
A notch-less display with gaming-grade OS
The image shows that the Legion smartphone is set to feature a notch-less display. The screen is seen sporting slim bezels both at the top and bottom. While the image isn’t the most generous, it still shows some crucial details surrounding the display.
At the helm is the Lenovo Legion smartphone’s capability to connect to Wi-Fi and 5G networks simultaneously. The phone is also revealed to be equipped with a gaming-grade OS. The OS is seen to boast a clean-looking interface, which is said to deliver a seamless interactive system.
A massive battery
An official teaser video of the Lenovo Legion smartphone was also released. The clip showed that the forthcoming phone would come with a significantly longer battery life than most of its competitors. Although the video didn’t reveal the specification of its battery, it is purported that the phone could be backed up by a massive 5,050mAh battery capacity.
Another highlight that can be seen in the video is the Lenovo Legion smartphone’s inclusion of a second USB-C port that is placed on its left side. Consequently, the phone should arrive with such convenience, especially when users would opt to charge their devices while playing a game.
90Hz display refresh rate and Snapdragon 865 SoC
The Lenovo Legion phone has also been subjected to a slew of speculations in terms of its rumored features and specifications. One of the rumors that seemed to have gained traction online is its alleged screen support for at least 90Hz refresh rate, which is a much-needed feature for a gaming smartphone.
The Lenovo Legion phone is also tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. Likewise, the gaming device is also pegged to arrive with 90W superfast charging, dual speakers, and temperature-cooling technology. A linear motor is also tipped to be in the fold.
Lenovo is yet to announce the official launching date of its first Legion gaming smartphone. It is heavily rumored that the phone could arrive sometime in 2020
