Lisa Vanderpump breaks silence after firing four ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars

Lisa Vanderpump released an official statement on Instagram about the recent “Vanderpump Rules” firings.

Former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Vanderpump, recently broke her silence. After weeks of not saying anything, she released a statement on Instagram after Bravo reportedly fired four Vanderpump Rules stars.

The network announced a day prior that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprionio will no longer return to the show. This is in light of their “racially insensitive” actions in the past that have resurfaced in recent weeks, according to People.

Why Bravo fired the four reality stars

Earlier this month, former Vanderpump Rules star Faith Stowers “accused” her former castmates, Schroeder and Doute, of “racist actions” against her. Speaking to a live chat with Floribama Shore star, Candace Rice, she reportedly recalled how the two women, who are both white, made a move against her.

They reportedly spotted an article from a tabloid featuring a black woman, who was wanted for theft. As revealed, they, later on, called the police to “pin the crimes” on Stowers.

Boyens and Caprionio, on the other hand, were new cast members under Lisa Vanderpump’s wing, according to CNN. As reported, their dismissal came after their past “racist tweets” went viral amid the current unrest following George Floyd’s death and the Black Lives Matter movement.

The controversies continued to make noise for weeks. But, Lisa Vanderpump only shared her side after Bravo fired the stars.

Lisa Vanderpump and her official statement

Taking it to Instagram, Lisa Vanderpump shared a lengthy post about the whole debacle. She said that it was “necessary” for her to keep her silence until Bravo made its decision to let go of the four stars.

The RHOBH alumna went on to share that she loves and adores [her] employees. However, the whole controversy “deeply saddened” her. This is due to the “lack of judgment” some have displayed in the past, she said.

Lisa then said that she condemns “all forms of cruelty, racism, homophobia,” and bigotry, as well as “unequal treatment” to others. “We’ve never tolerated it in the workplace or our lives,” she noted.

It is a need for everyone to “move forward” and with a “kinder generation,” she said. In the end, Lisa Vanderpump encourages the public to change ways. She urged the public to “strive” to live a life where “kindness and compassion” become the “highest values.”
