By the time you are reading this article, chance is good that certain aquatic animals have already made their absence in your island. And, in case you are not aware, this is a part of the cycle in the game.
However, these marine creatures will not just be suddenly vanishing like magic. As part of the game’s design, these sea critters will only be migrating to a different spot in the game. Particularly towards the Southern Hemisphere if you are coming from the Northern Hemisphere, or vice versa.
Which looking at it is indeed pretty cool and is an effective way of making the game feel fresh with every transition. If you have been playing the game for a while now, you would now that this phenomenon happens often.
With that said, the sea lives that will make a temporary disappearance from your island will differ significantly to where your atoll is at. For distinction, we will be referring to these aquatic lives as either fishes or sea creatures because not all critters of the sea are technically fish.

While it might be hard to part with these seawater animals, there is a trade-off—other marine animals are going to take their place. Which, when you think about it, is kind of an allusion in life. Where, if something leaves, a new one comes to fill that void.
