Bandai Namco dropped the gameplay trailer of Little Nightmares 2. The latest trailer was revealed at Gamescom 2020.
Little Nightmares 2 is launching on February 11 next year. The sequel was first announced at Gamescom last year. Fortunately, development is going at a regular pace.
Besides the gameplay trailer, Tarsier Studios showcased 15-minute gameplay during Gamescom. The upcoming sequel is a notch more terrific than its predecessor. This is based on the trailer and gameplay alone.

What’s waiting on the sequel?
The Little Nightmares sequel will feature a little boy Mono as the protagonist. He will meet Six (from the earlier game) as they navigate through the Pale City.
Despite being available, Six is just a non-playable character. This makes the game feel more like a single-player platformer.
Recurring characters include Thin Man with other creepy characters as well. The new enemies include the Hunter, the Teacher, the Students, Mannequins, and the Viewers.
The game maintains the involvement of a lot of puzzles with a touch of an escape room vibe. Mono needs to think quickly and use his surroundings to overcome several obstacles.
The first game was positively reviewed, with most talking about the intense music score. Meanwhile, Gamerevolution mentioned that Little Nightmares has a double meaning.
“On one hand, the gameplay is a nightmare regularly testing your patience and will to push forward. On the other, the atmosphere and audio design prove terrifying in a way that horror fiends will admire,” Jonathan Leack of Gamerevolution said.
With the gameplay trailer out, it seems like Little Nightmares 2 is bringing the same elements that make the first game great. However, it is scarier the second time around.
