The sequel to the first installment seems to be a massive success in just a short period of its release a month ago. It was well-received as well, as far as the reviews are concerned.
Bandai Namco revealed that Little Nightmares 2 sales have officially gone past 1 million on its Twitter page. Players are showing a lot of interest in the title.
The second part involves a simple combat system and the Six. The latter is an AI returning from the original game.
The horror-puzzle title was released in physical and digital versions due to an excellent reception for its predecessor.
Little Nightmares 2 is so huge in its sales that some players are yet to get a copy in their hands. It’s because the stocks are getting empty in quick time. For the publisher, it should come as a good sign, for sure.
Senior Vice President Marketing at Bandai Namco, Herve Hoerdt, released a statement thanking fans for giving immense love to the game.
He said that the publisher is “very proud of Little Nightmares’ success and grateful with how fans have embraced the universe through the games and the comics.”
It’s a remarkable achievement to witness such splendid success in a brief period. That’s also proof of how vast the gaming series has become since its reveal.
