The supernatural horror drama, Locke and Key season 2, has been recently confirmed to return to the home screens. Furthermore, the show adds three regulars to join the main casts for the second installment.
Locke and Key, which debuted in February, earned positive reviews from Netflix’s subscribers. Although there have been problems with its renewal, it appears that the series is awaiting its renewal for the third installment. As of writing, Locke and Key season 2 production has recently resumed in Toronto amid strict COVID-19 guidelines.

“Locke and Key” season 2 spoilers
In an interview with co-showrunner Meredith Averill, she said that the second season would keep the first season’s tone – preferring the suspense and tension than the gory and graphic. With the kids growing up and their experience with the keys broadens, they would want to explore what being responsible means. According to her:
“The Locke kids are going to be dealing with things far heavier than the death of their father in season two.”
The first season was purely a comic adaptation. The producers held back so much of the mythology of the story. Now, with the second installment, they would want to talk more about the mythology of the keys. Furthermore, avid fans will get to see the release of Locke and Key season 2 in February 2021.
