London Critics’ Circle Film Awards: ‘Saint Maud’ is leading

Psychological horror flick Saint Maud, from Rose Glass, is leading the nominations for this year’s London Critics’ Circle Film Awards.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the horror movie Saint Maud is currently leading the nominations. It’s the debut project of director Rose Glass. And she’s already made a mark in the upcoming 41st London Critics’ Circle Film Awards.

The award ceremony will be virtual, scheduled for February seventh.

“Saint Maud” movie details

Talking about the great psychological film, then it has secured eight nominations in the upcoming LCCF awards. Along with Best Film and Best Director, it secured positions in Best Actress and Best Screenwriting sections as well.

Saint Maud tells the story of Maud (Morfydd Clark), a young nurse. She tries to save the soul of her ward from eternal damnation.

Along with the Rose Glass directorial, other potential winners also entered the nominations. Some big names include Rocks (six nods) and Nomadland (five nods).
