Josh Gad is bringing the cast of the beloved film series Lord of the Rings in his Reunited Apart Youtube series.
Since the release of the penultimate film of the Lord of the Rings series, fans have not heard from the show again. Fortunately, with the newest episode of Josh Gad’s Reunited Apart Youtube series, devotees will once again witness their favorite cast members.
Lord of the Rings cast and crew makes an appearance
Gad’s official Twitter account posted a video that showcased the characters who will make an appearance in the reunion. It further featured Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, and Ian McKellen.
However, a recent post from Dominic Monaghan’s official Instagram account confirmed that they will be joined by more stars. This includes Sean Bean, Viggo Mortensen, Andy Serkis, John Rhys-Davies, Karl Urban, Miranda Otto, and Peter Jackson.
The Instagram post featured Lord of the Rings cast and crew in Zoom boxes. Monaghan further captioned the post,
“This SUNDAY! Reunited apart. We will break the world wide interwebs! Link below! Subscribe!”
Reportedly, the full reunion episode featuring the Lord of the Rings cast will be available on YouTube, this Sunday, May 31, starting at 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM ET.

Josh Gad’s Reunited Apart has been blessing movie fans with exclusive reunions of some of the most beloved films in history. The Youtube series launched with The Goonies cast. It featured Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, and Josh Brolin. Moreover, screenwriter Chris Columbus, executive producer Steven Spielberg, and director Richard Donner also made an appearance.
Then, Back to the Future cast and crew got together. Stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Elisabeth Shue, and writer-director Robert Zemeckis came into view.
Furthermore, the third reunion assembled by Gad was for the 1980 comedy Splash. Ron Howard, along with producer Brian Grazer, writers Babaloo Mandel & Lowell Ganz, stars Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah, and Eugene Levy were on that call. Above all, the Lord of the Rings reunion will serve as the fourth episode of the series.
