MCU tends to throw one surprise after the other. When fans were having a blast with Shang-Chi, here comes the Hawkeye trailer!
Marvel Studios has officially revealed the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Disney+ series Hawkeye. The TV show stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld in key roles.
‘Hawkeye’ trailer and what to expect from the series?
This December, get ready for a great Christmas because Jeremy Renner is coming back as the iconic Hawkeye, aka Ronin. The latter is his iteration from Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
The first trailer for the next big MCU entry shows an action-packed yet somewhat hilarious impression. At least that’s what it looks like currently. Although it won’t be funny–definitely not.
Set in the post-blip New York City, Hawkeye will see Clint Barton returning home to his family for Christmas. However, he will need some help from someone else to achieve this objective.
Enters Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), “the world’s greatest archer,” as she tells Barton upon the first meeting.
Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer, is a girl who dreams big of becoming a Super Hero one day.
The Hawkeye reveal trailer also shows that Kate has been using Ronin’s identity for a long time. Even though Barton presumably left it during Endgame.
After the first encounter, they both have to work together due to certain impossible circumstances. Clint has to fix few things relating to his past actions, and he needs Kate to finish them off.
In the trailer, we also see Barton’s children Lila, Nathaniel, and Cooper.
Vera Fermiga is also there as Eleanor Bishop, Kate Bishop’s mother.
Fra Fee is playing Kazi.
And yes, Alaqua Cox is also playing a key role. In case you didn’t know, she plays Echo, the next big MCU character getting her own Disney+ TV solo series. She’s a deaf Native American, capable of copying anyone’s movements.
Natasha’s sister Yelena Belova (from Black Widow), played by Florence Pugh, is returning. Obviously, she will want to avenge her sister’s death because she thinks Barton is responsible for Natasha’s death.
Upcoming MCU projects
Meanwhile, there are multiple other projects to get hyped for. Coming months will reveal consecutive MCU titles both on the sides of movies and TV shows.
After the ongoing What If…? series, the next major entry to arrive is Eternals in November.
And then, in December, Spider-Man: No Way Home is making its landing in theaters.
The third part in Tom Holland’s franchise is one of the most awaited Marvel projects. It is because of the multiverse-based narrative and also the many insane leaks so far.
Coming back to Hawkeye, again, it will start streaming on Disney Plus from November 24, 2021.
