Marvel’s series Agents of SHIELD is returning to ABC one last time, and the cast is teasing the fans about it.
Season 7 of Marvel’s longest-running Marvel TV series to-date Agents of SHIELD is coming very soon, and one of its stars, Clark Gregg, wasted no time in sharing about it through an Instagram post.
With a touch of humor in his caption, Gregg posted an “accidental” behind-the-scenes shot from the upcoming final season of the show.
Gregg, who plays the role of Agent Phil Coulson, captioned his post: “Oh no. Accidentally posted a BTS shot from #agentsofshield s.7. I better delete this. Soon.”

His fans were quick to drop comments on his teaser photo, asking for more details about the season finale. But he didn’t just catch the fans’ attention. His co-star Chloe Bennet also saw the post and chimed in with a comment saying, “Should I accidentally post something too??”
It wasn’t long after when Bennet, who plays the role of Daisy Johnson, posted her behind-the-scenes photo. The image, which is in a monochromatic filter, showed a picture of herself all clad in old-fashioned attire.
Bennet wrote in the caption: “Oops. Oh no. How did these top secret season 7 bts photos that I’m not supposed to post, get on my Instagram?”

His last teaser for the day was a repost of Bennet’s picture and a caption that read, “Wow. It must be some kind of glitch.”

This time around, it was the official Instagram account of the series, @agentsofshield, that left a comment on the picture that made the fans even more excited to see the seventh season. “It could be HYDRA behind these glitches,” it wrote.
Release date and story plot
ABC has not officially made an announcement yet on the release date of Agents of SHIELD season 7. Still, the show’s official Twitter account already mentioned that it will be coming around summer, just like season 6. It will also have a total of 13 episodes
The final season is also expected to pick up after the events from season 6 which ended with the characters’ time traveling to the 1930s in Manhattan, which explains the vintage attire of the characters in the teaser photos. The Chronicoms are planning to invade but the team is assembling to stop it.
Reports also reveal that season 7 is going to bring back Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Rick Stoner (Patrick Warburton). Other stars of the series include Henry Simmons, Ming-Na Wen, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge.
