Season 7 will be the final installment of the series
Unfortunately, it was also revealed that the seventh season will be the last run of Agents of SHIELD. Chloe Bennet declared,
“When you’ve done six seasons and that many hours of TV, it’s pretty hard on the writers to think what else to do, and they killed it.”
Nevertheless, the actress still assured that the forthcoming season is really fun and worth the wait. As a matter of fact, Bennet shared that season 7 is one or her favorite installment of the series.

Teaser reveals time travel mishap between the team
The series’ season 6 ended with a massive cliffhanger. It featured the SHIELD team being sent back to 1930s to stop a nefarious A.I. species looking to take over Earth. However, a recent trailer of the show revealed that the timeline navigation of the team could lead to a catastrophe.
As seen in the short teaser, one cast said,
“Just being here, walking down the street, we could have already changed the course of events.”
With each agent having a completely different approach to time travel, the group could soon be on course for disaster.
Nonetheless, this revelation is not surprising for all the devotees. Chloe Bennet has already warned fans that not everybody will be pleased with how the series comes to an end. The actress has previously stated,
“I don’t think we’re going to make everyone happy.”
Agents of SHIELD season 7 is set to premiere on ABC on May 27.
