Marvel’s Avengers might include the character of War Machine as one of the playable characters. This came to be after a possible leak point to James “Rhodey” Rhodes’ suit design was posted on Twitter.
Although there are many heroes in the Avengers comic and cinematic universe, not all of them have been featured in the latest Marvel’s Avengers game. The game has recently launched but has met with negative reviews. Players have experienced issues that made the game unplayable for some gamers. However, Square Enix has rolled out the latest patch aiming to fix 1,000 bugs within the game.
Twitter user Miller leaks War Machine character design
A Twitter user, Miller leaked what may be the standard character design for War Machine. The post features James “Rhodey” Rhodes’ armor, which is very similar to the cinematic version. Furthermore, it comes with big guns on both hands and shoulders.

Reportedly, War Machine was also rumored to join the other playable character in the beta version. For now, the confirmed playable characters include Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, and Thor. Kate Bishop is confirmed to join the team in October and Clint Barton in November. Besides, Spider-Man will be available in 2021 but only to the Playstation console.
Although the leak may be true, fans should not immediately take this into account as Marvel’s Avengers has not yet released any statement. On a side note, rumors are pointing to the release of She-Hulk, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Scarlett Witch, and Falcon to join the roster.
“Marvel’s Avengers“ is giving out in-game rewards
The patch V1.3.0 fixes over 1,000 bugs. Aside from this, Publisher Square Enix has even released a free pack in-game rewards to apologize for the bugs, as well as to reward loyal players. One major issue that a lot of players seem to notice is that it halted game progress. Some players were not able to play the game at all.
Patch V1.3.1 is underway and includes a number of fixes.
☑️ Captain America can now smash through doors
☑️ Villain Sectors are obtainable again
☑️ Mission Chains completion fix

While the patch securely addresses issues ranging from several progression stoppers to small graphical fixes, Square Enix also encourages the players to report bugs and refrain from refreshing the weekly challenges.
Players can claim Polychoron and Uro for free
Although the latest patch V.1.3.1 has fixed several issues, it also is keeping players from accepting certain missions. As a result, players are unable to earn rewards from the missions. To make up for it, Crystal Dynamics is giving 250 Polychoron and 500 Uru. These two components are important in-game resources.
Players may claim the freebies until Oct. 1. Marvel’s Avengers is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
