Three years ago, the first Black Panther brought a revolution. Now its star actress Lupita Nyong’o is expecting even bigger goals for part 2.
In a recent interaction with Good Morning America, Lupita Nyong’o teased some “exciting ideas” for Black Panther 2 movie. She also remembered late actor Chadwick Boseman a.k.a., the one and only King T’Challa.
The production is yet to start on the sequel to 2018’s blockbuster Marvel film.
Big plans for Black Panther 2
“It’s going to be different, of course, without our king [Chadwick Boseman] … but I know that all of us are dedicated to reimagining or carrying on his legacy in this new #BlackPanther.” — @Lupita_Nyongo https://t.co/i9rZzYvW4s pic.twitter.com/NcxvWy8rmd

Talking about what Lupita said over the future sequel, then are a lot of things she mentioned. She said that the next part would dive deep into the world of Wakanda while exploring its rich culture.
She also said that director Ryan Coogler is working on many ideas for Black Panther 2. And that the curiosity among fans will be worth the wait eventually.
“It’s gonna be different, of course, without our king to go back into that world. But I know that all of us are dedicated to carrying on his legacy in this new Black Panther. And [director] Ryan Coogler has some really, really exciting ideas that I look forward to bringing to life with the rest of the family.”
Thus, it is evident that even after the massive loss of late actor Chadwick Boseman, the makers will try to continue his legacy forward. And Black Panther 2 will try to deliver on the expectations of die-hard franchise lovers.
Right now, the latest entry from Marvel, WandaVision, is streaming on the Disney+ platform.
Upcoming MCU titles in the future
Meanwhile, the biggest superhero cinematic universe in the world, at the moment, is working on its upcoming slate.
Due to the pandemic, there was a massive pause of more than a year. But now the situation is getting better, at least a little bit.
There is the Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV series regarding what’s about to arrive next. It will start streaming later this month on Disney Plus.
Fans are also expecting the release of three big MCU films this year, namely Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals. However, the rising cases of COVID-19 are causing constant delays.
If there’s no improvement in the situation in the coming months, the final solution will launch via Disney’s streaming portal. So there might be no theatrical launch at all, in case things go out of control.
Moving further, there will be multiple MCU properties coming by the end of the year and beyond. Some of the most-awaited titles are Spider-Man: No Way Home, Thor 4, Captain Marvel 2, Doctor Strange 2, and Black Panther 2.
