The latest promotional teaser trailer for WandaVision just dropped a great new surprise for fans in the New year. The show will have nine episodes!
According to Gamesradar, it’s officially revealed that Disney Plus/MCU series WandaVision will have nine episodes. It’s big news since previous reports speculated the total count at six. So, now the die-hard Marvel lovers can celebrate further in the New Year.
The show will also kick start phase four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
WandaVision: Hype is huge for MCU’s TV debut
Interestingly, the latest clip also teases the SWORD agency, which will surely appear in the long run of Marvel Universe. As you all must be knowing the term stands for Sentient World Observation and Response Department.
Talking about the episodes, then the newly revealed total count means that fans won’t have to wait longer for the next MCU show. How? Because the moment WandaVision ends in March, just a week after that, Falcon and the Winter Soldier will arrive. It simply implies a streak of non-stop Marvel content in the coming months.
All in all, binge-watchers and die-hard fanatics will be getting a lot of entertainment after a long wait of more than a year! Due to the pandemic and its impact, 2020 witnessed no release from Marvel Studios, alongside many other prominent studios.
Upcoming Marvel projects in future phases
Meanwhile, there’s not just the Scarlet Witch and Vision’s story arriving on Disney’s streaming service. In fact, it’s going to be an endless saga in the coming years, starting from 2021 itself!
After Black Widow and Shang-Chi‘s release, phase four of the MCU will see shows like Loki and Ms. Marvel. Then there’s the Eternals film in November. Other anticipated series in the franchise are What, if…?, Secret Invasion, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Armor Wars, and Ironheart.
After them, Phase five is also hugely awaited with Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, and Blade. But the most important title is the Fantastic Four movie. As it’s been announced that early work has been started on it, excitement is already on the next level.
Among the next big things, there’s also the debut of X-Men, and its announcement is likely to come soon in a few years from now. Everything will be unexpected when it comes to imagining amazing characters in Marvel Studios’ future. Kevin Feige seems to have a lot of work supervising so many projects under him. For the viewers, it can just be called a perfect decade to-be!
Coming back to WandaVision, the TV show premieres on Disney Plus on January 15th.
