Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green admitted they have ended their 10-year marriage and now they are co-parenting.
It was Green who confirmed the break up of his marriage to Fox on May 18. On his podcast titled Context With Brian Austin Green, he opened up about his split from Fox.
Brian talks about how they reached the decision to separate
He also discussed his ex-wife’s paparazzi photos that show her with Machine Gun Kelly. Green shared that when Fox returned after filming Midnight in the Switchgrass overseas with the 30-year-old rapper, nothing really changed when she was not home.
To fix their marital issues, the Beverly Hills 90210 star gave his wife time to “recoup a little bit and get back into life.” The next thing they did was have a heart-to-heart talk and said that he was shocked by the things she told him.
“She said, ‘When I was out of the country working alone, I realized that I feel more like myself and I liked it,” Green narrated. “I like that experience and I think that might be something worth trying for me.'”
The actor said that he was really shocked and upset but he knows he can’t feel that way towards her because “she did not ask to feel that way.” He added that it was not a choice that his ex-wife’s made but that was how she honestly felt.
Green said that after talking for a bit more, they decided to separate for a bit and that’s what they did.
The ex-couple’s co-parenting arrangements
Brian and Megan had three children and they are Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 3. The Hollywood Life reported that despite the fact that they are not together anymore, they are determined to be very involved in their children’s lives.
It was reported that the pair is doing a good job with co-parenting and they are doing their best to be hands-on parents.
“Brian and Megan are really great that even in the separations that they have had over the years, they have always put the kids first,” a source told the outlet. “They felt like this is the best for the kids and Brian would see the children as much as he could.”
Finally, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are not having trouble with co-parenting because they have done it before. It is understood that the children are staying with the actress but the latter always makes sure to see them as often as he can.
