Will Meghan Markle address royal 'tension' in Oprah interview?

Oprah Winfrey had an exclusive interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry last February.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have, once again, shocked the public after announcing that they sat to an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey. While details remain scarce about the “tell-all,” several sources have since begun to speculate what the contents would be.

As the premiere date fastly approaches, sources told E! earlier this week that the Sussexes intend to address the “tension” within the British Royal Family. They will reportedly shine a light on the things they went through these past few months.

It will be a “candid” tell-all

The insiders claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be “very candid” in the interview. The reason being is that they have permanently left their royal posts, adding that there is a sense of “relief” on their parts.

Apart from addressing the alleged “tensions” and rifts among the British Royals, the Sussexes will also reportedly touch on mental health. As explained, they will share the details of how this factor “came into play.”

The same informant continued that the couple will likely unveil some things regarding the tense-filled relationship of the Wales Princes. This came after rumors remain apparent that the royal siblings are not on good terms.

Meghan Markle to discuss royal marriage and motherhood

Although the assertions appear to have captured the public’s attention, expert Emily Nash insisted that Meghan Markle will focus only on certain topics. These include her marriage into the British Royal Family and motherhood. It might also even include her “intense pressure” experiences due to being a high-profile personality.

The Hello! magazine’s editor argued, as well, that the Duchess of Sussex will not likely be “critical” of the British Royals. Nash explained that she would not want to do that because Prince Harry still has a close relationship with Queen Elizabeth.

She believes that the Sussex couple’s upcoming interview will be about “setting out their stall and presenting their new life” to the rest of the public. It will possibly feature a “more optimistic feel.”

Oprah with the Sussexes

Reports said that the sit-down interview with Oprah took place last February. The shooting and filming took two days inside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new home in the United States.

The exclusive material titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry will premiere on CBS on March 7. It remains undisclosed, though, whether British networks have already purchased the rights to the 90-minute interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
