According to Woman’s Day, David and Victoria Beckham are close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And the Beckhams, allegedly, want to make sure that the Sussexes will be on their eldest son’s special day.
The tabloid claimed that the Beckhams are royally obsessed. As such, they would do anything to make sure that Prince Harry and Markle would attend the wedding.
Since the Beckhams know that the Sussexes have a very tight schedule, they are already planning to send out save the date cards to confirm their attendance. And the British couple is also, allegedly, urging their son to rework his wedding plans based on the Sussexes’ availability.
“Prince Harry and Meghan are at the top of the pile. David and Victoria are good friends with them and know their attendance would make the day more special,” the unnamed source said.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. It is unlikely for Brooklyn and Peltz to be rushing their wedding. After all, there are still restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While it is true that the Beckhams are friends with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, there’s no reason for them to rework their son’s wedding date because of the royal couple.
After all, there is no guarantee that the Sussexes will make it to the nuptials. Prince Harry and Markle are currently living in Los Angeles. And there’s no word as to when they would return to the United Kingdom.
The Sussexes skipped Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding last month since they still can’t travel to the UK. It is also important to note that the royal couple has a 1-year-old son that they cannot leave behind.
Rumors about Beckhams and the Sussexes have been rife for years. According to reports, Victoria was one of Markle’s first friends when she moved to the UK. However, the two women, allegedly, had a falling out.
In March, Closer claimed that Markle reached out to Victoria to end their feud.
“Vic has been having a tricky time over the last few weeks, so it was really nice for her to hear from Meghan, who wanted to break the ice and heal their feud,” the source said.
Meghan Markle and Beckham, allegedly, had a falling out amid claims that the latter was selling stories about the Suits alum to the press.
