Royal fans question Lady Colin Campbell if she really knows Meghan Markle after writing an alleged “real story” about her.
The British socialite recently dropped the biography, Meghan and Harry: The Real Story. Campbell claimed the book held the “balanced account of game changes, conflicts and ambitions” of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
But, fans questioned how she could write the real story about a person she had never even met.
Fans question Lady C’s knowledge about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle
According to Mirror Online, the book explored the Duke of Sussex’s fall as a “consequence” to his marriage to the Duchess of Sussex.
Here, she described the former actress as a “beautiful and dynamic Hollywood starlet of color.”
In total, she had written five books about the Royal Family, including the bestseller Diana in Private.
The royal history and psychology expert promised to give a “unique breadth of insight” and went behind the scenes to tell the couple’s story.
But, some questioned how she could do it.
“She’s never even met Meghan Markle,” one fan said on Twitter. “But she’s never missed a paycheck she could get her grubby little fingers on by dragging the royals through the dirt in one of her tacky, fantasy books she claims are ‘biographies.'”
“Lady C has never met Harry and Meghan and has a very odd disliking to Meghan Markle but has decided to write a book about them,” another tweeted.
Anyhow, others believed Campbell had all the right answers to Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal exit. “The perceptive Lady C has got this right,” the other one said.
British people may not welcome the Sussexes back to the UK
Campbell previously claimed the United Kingdom would never welcome back Meghan and Prince Harry after leaving.
“I think if they try to come back to this country, they will not be welcomed,” she told Fox News.
The television and radio personality cleared she’s “rooting” for Meghan. But, she firmly believed the Sussexes might experience “frosty reception” from the British public after moving to the United States.
“I think they have damaged themselves very badly,” she added. “I think there will be a very difficult way forward, no matter what the way is.”
Campbell continued if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t make it big in Hollywood like they hoped to be, they had to move elsewhere.
“I don’t know what they’re going to do. I suspect they don’t know what they’re going to do,” she suggested.
