Meghan Markle dumped Jessica for new BFF Reese Witherspoon: rumor

Meghan Markle, allegedly, found a new best friend after she cut ties with her close pal, Jessica Mulroney.

According to In Touch Weekly, Meghan Markle and Reese Witherspoon became very close shortly after the former relocated to Los Angeles. However, no concrete pieces of evidence can confirm that these hearsays are correct as of this writing.

Still, the insider insisted that Markle and Witherspoon get along so well because they have a lot of things in common.

“They have so much in common, plus Reese is already a huge star. She admires Meghan for who she is, not what she can get out of her,” the source said, as per In Touch Weekly.

According to the insider, Witherspoon is also trying to pitch a role for Markle in Big Little Lies Season 3. Since Markle is a huge fan of the series, she just might accept the gig.

“Meghan’s a huge fan of the series and the way it represents female empowerment, which is what she’s all about,” the source said.

The source also talked about Markle and Mulroney’s friendship. Even though Markle and Mulroney have been through a lot, the former royal was still forced to phase her bestie out.

Mulroney was accused of racism after she attacked a social media influencer amid the Black Lives Matter movement.

“There was pressure on Meghan to phase Jessica out. Even if she still wanted to be friends, she can’t be. The optics are too bad. Meghan feels duped,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Meghan Markle and Witherspoon are not best friends. And no one knows for sure if Markle and Mulroney ended their friendship.

Reese Witherspoon loves royal weddings

Three years ago, Witherspoon made headlines after she tweeted about Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding.

The Legally Blonde star uploaded a clip where Prince Harry is telling Markle that she looks amazing and that he’s lucky.

“I love weddings!! This moment is everything,” Witherspoon captioned the clip.

Days before the royal wedding, Witherspoon shopped for souvenirs during her trip to London. The actress was able to buy a Prince Harry and Markle royal wedding plate from a small shop.

However, these are the only connections between Witherspoon and Meghan Markle. And they are certainly not best friends.
