Meghan Markle is one of the celebrities rumored to be running for president in the future, and a fake website just went live campaigning for the actress.
Meghan Markle has been encouraging people to participate in the upcoming election. It’s only a few weeks away from the election day, and a website that seems to be promoting the duchess for the presidency has come to life.
Meghan Markle for president website looks real
Meghan Markle now has a website ready in case she wants to run for president. According to the Independent, the site is “fake” meaning, Markle doesn’t own it. However, it looks real.
Matt Wilkinson, a royal correspondent of The Sun, even finds the website “promising.”
The site promises a “brighter tomorrow” with Markle. It also included a text that read, “Together, we will lead.”
In addition, it featured various photos of Prince Harry’s wife from her previous engagements. It also included quotes from her previous interviews.
“I’ve also learned that saying ‘no’ is just as valuable as saying ‘yes.’ It’s something that, I think, comes with age and really having a sense of your self-worth,” Markle told InStyle in 2015.
“We just need to be kinder to ourselves,” Markle said in a televised interview years ago. “If we treated ourselves the way we do our best friend, can you imagine how much better off we would be?”
All of those quotes were featured on the spoof website.
There is also a button on top that read “Contribute,” which seems to invite people to support Markle’s campaign. But nothing happens when one clicks the button.

Royal fans react to the website
Royal fans have mixed responses to the fake website. Many clearly disapproved of the idea of Meghan Markle running for president. Express shared several reactions from different online users, and some supported Markle while others don’t.
“This should be enough to get the titles dropped,” one wrote per Express.
“She can want to be President all she wants to,” another commented.
Several also found the website “unbelievable.” It also sparked rumors that Markle might run for president in 2024.
Is Markle interested in becoming president?
Lady Collin Campbell claimed that Meghan Markle is eyeing the presidency. She said an insider confirmed it to her, and Markle’s decisions to leave the royal family and return to the United States were part of her plans all along.
However, a source close to the Duchess of Sussex denied it. The insider claimed that politics interests the duchess, but it’s a different thing when she actually wants herself to join the presidential race. The tipster felt that it’s unlikely for Markle to do it.
