According to New Idea, Meghan Markle isn’t thrilled to know that Prince Andrew still gets to keep his patronages even after he was involved in a scandal.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, on the other hand, were stripped of their patronages after they announced that they won’t be returning to their royal duties.
A source told the tabloid that the palace’s decision to favor Prince Andrew isn’t sitting well with Markle.
“Meghan hates Andrew and how the palace seems to be protecting him. She didn’t hold back, and Harry’s disgust at the double standard was evident. I don’t know if that will make the final cut though,” the source said.
The insider also claimed to know the details of Prince Harry and Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
While some teasers have already been released, more information is expected to be unveiled once the tell-all airs.
The insider said that the Sussexes won’t openly rage about Queen Elizabeth, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Andrew in their interview.
But they are expected to drop clues regarding how deep their fallouts with them are.
“But there will be a lot of clever comments leaving you in no doubt how they feel about them. Sort of like her, ‘No one asked if I was OK’ swipe,” the source said.
Meanwhile, the teasers for the couple’s interview revealed that they will be talking about Princess Diana.
“You know, for me, I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side. Because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her [Princess Diana], going through this process by herself all those years ago,” Prince Harry said.
In another clip, Winfrey asked Markle and Prince Harry how they think the palace would feel after they hear them speaking up.
“I don’t know how they could expect that after all this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us. And if that comes with the risk of losing things, I mean, there’s a lot that’s been lost already,” Meghan Markle said.
