Meghan Markle is releasing a children’s book, “The Bench,” and Piers Morgan laughed it off due to the duchess relationship with her dad.
Meghan Markle is officially an author of a children’s book. She will be releasing her book, The Bench. The publication features a special bond between a father and child from the perspective of a mother.
It reportedly features her family experience with her husband, Prince Harry, and son Archie. However, Piers Morgan slammed the book while questioning its sincerity due to Markle’s lack of relationship with her father, Thomas Markle Sr.
Meghan Markle accused of hypocrisy for her new book
Piers Morgan penned an article in Daily Mail about his reaction to Meghan Markle’s new book. He ridiculed Prince Harry’s wife for allegedly hating royalty but calling herself Duchess of Sussex in the book cover.
He also questioned Markle’s reputation for speaking out about a father and child’s relationship after she disowned her dad. In his article, Piers said Markle has an “unlimited thirst for committing attention-seeking acts of gargantuan hypocrisy.” He added that her book was beyond parody but real. It even made him laugh out loud when he learned about it.
“I wonder how much these touching sentiments will resonate with her own family, or her husband’s?” Piers wrote.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter pointed out how Markle disowned her own father. Also, the duchess refused to have anything to do with him despite living just 70 miles from each other.
Piers also slammed the duchess for disowning the Markles. In fact, no relatives from her father’s side were invited to her royal wedding to Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle's author bio in the book release is very fun —

Morgan also slammed Prince Harry
Piers Morgan also criticized the Duke of Sussex for trashing his own father, Prince Charles, during their interview with Oprah Winfrey. Morgan slammed the duke for moaning how the Prince of Wales stopped taking his calls and supporting them financially.
For him, Prince Harry was “sounding like some needy spoiled brat teenager rather than a 36-year-old multi-millionaire doormat” who left his family and royal duty for his “chillingly controlling and ambitious wife.“
Twitter reaction to Meghan’s book
Twitter users have mixed opinions about Meghan Markle’s new book. Some of them also slammed it because they shared Piers Morgan’s sentiment.
One user accused Markle of ruining every relationship she has from her dad to her siblings, collects, and in-laws. Another called her book a joke, knowing that she is not on speaking terms with her family.
However, some of them also showed excitement to Markle’s new book. One wrote that she has never pre-ordered a book so fast. Meanwhile, another praised the duchess for being intelligent and eloquent.
