Jennifer Garner praised, thanked Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for “lifting” everyone up through Archie’s birthday video.
On May 6, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released a rare video of their firstborn son, Archie Harrison, to mark his first birthday. The video served as the young royal’s first publicity after his last appearance before the public last year.
Through Save the Children UK’s Instagram account, the nearly three-minute video shows Meghan and Archie as they read through Duck! Rabbit!. As noted, this is one of the young Sussex’s favorite books.
Upon the release of the video, it received a “mixed” reception from both famous personalities and royal fans, according to Business Insider. While several individuals have shown their love and appreciation, many people criticized mainly the Duchess for the video.

We are humbled and grateful that you chose @savewithstories to mark this special day and in so doing – have raised the visibility of @savethechildren’s work in the US and UK and have helped feed and educate children in desperate need of both. . More than anything – watching you lovingly talk through the pictures while your clever Archie turns the pages – lifts all of us up and reminds us that what may seem like a duck just might turn out to be a rabbit. Thank you for this joyful and meaningful shift in perspective. Best, Jen

Duchess of Sussex deemed “phony” and “unmaternal”
Jennifer Garner’s open letter for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shortly came after Emily Griffin’s roast. The Something Borrowed author “unleashed a torrent of insults” at the Sussex couple, as per the Huffington Post.
She reportedly had nothing “but complaints” about Archie’s birthday video. While she greeted the Sussex’s firstborn son on her Instagram stories, she told the Duchess to “go away.” She even reportedly misspelled the Duchess’ name as “Megan.”
Emily Griffin also went on to leave a comment on the video post. As reported, she deemed the whole video as “the Megan show.“
In a separate “conversation,” the author also described Meghan Markle as “phony” and “unmaternal.” She also claimed that the Duchess has been acting and playing the part, “poorly.”
