Meghan Markle, Prince Harry responsible for missing $35M rumor debunked

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were blamed for the $35 million shortfall in the royal finances, according to one tabloid.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have already stepped down from their royal duties. But several outlets still get them on the loop with the royals. One tabloid claimed that the members of the Firm are blaming the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their $35 million.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry allegedly blamed for the financial shortfall

Woman’s Day published a report claiming that the royals are losing money. It quoted an insider the Queen’s treasurer allegedly saying, the bank “should expect to run at a $35 million loss by March 2021.”

The pandemic is largely to blame for the financial loss. However, the tabloid claimed that Prince Charles is pointing fingers at the Sussexes.

Prince Harry and Markle allegedly withdrew a large amount of money from the royal purse when they left for America. The Prince of Wales reportedly spent so much on the Sussexes Trip to South Africa.

He also spent over $901,000 on his two sons, and “most of that went to Meghan.” The dubious source claimed Markle’s wardrobe alone exceeded the usual spending.

Kate Middleton horrified

The outlet also claimed that Kate Middleton was horrified at Meghan Markle’s spending. The Duchess of Cambridge allegedly felt that her children were left to shoulder the burden of their royal finances.

Middleton was preparing to do what it takes to get the family’s finances back by working hard.

Rumors debunked

Gossip Cop refuted the report calling it false. While it’s true that the royal family encounters financial shortfall it’s not due to Meghan Markle but the coronavirus pandemic.

It questioned the report on why Middleton was so involved in the financial aspect of the royal family when they have financial managers for that.

Also, it’s not true that Markle is ruining her niece and nephews’ financial future.

Moreover, the rumor-debunking site points out that the thief Markle stories are common. Previous reports blamed the duchess for the Queen’s jewel heist in 1995.

There were also allegations that Markle stole $10 million in Princess Diana’s jewelry. Meanwhile, National Enquirer claimed that Markle was threatening the members with a tell-all book to give her $90 million.

Almost all things have been blamed on Markle, and all of those reports are not true.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said they want to be financially independent, and they are working on that. In fact, they just signed a multi-million deal with Netflix.
