Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s alleged problems with royal life

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

It remains a big puzzle for some as to why it took Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over a year before they stepped down as senior royals.

Allegedly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have planned to be non-working royals even at the start of their marriage.

In a recent discussion on Quora, its users asked if the Sussexes have already found themselves in a better place after Megxit. Also, there are questions if they ever plan to return to do their royal roles once again.

The questions about Prince Harry, Markle’s works and Megxit

Sarah Lohmeyer explained the real problem the couple has is the Duke of Sussex views his work differently.

“To work as a senior royal means to attend charity events and make walkabouts around town,” she said. “It’s not a job where you have a boss trying to fire you. His boss is his Grandmother. That’s an easy job.”

As a senior royal, Lohmeyer pointed out that Prince Harry had his own house, and his expenses were funded. His father, Prince Charles, also provided for his lifestyle from the funds of Duchy of Cornwall.

Adrianne Bacci added that if they decided to have a private life without titles and a public wedding, the public might’ve respected their decision.

“They chose the state wedding and accepted the Dukedom so that Meghan could have a title,” she explained. “After she decided she did not like the royal life, she and Harry decided they wanted out.”

Also, Astrid Raines blamed Markle and her desire to become rich and famous by marrying Prince Harry.

“Meghan had plans to stick around long enough to siphon off a nice bundle of cash, jewels, clothes,” she claimed. “To have her name in headlines while she busily pushed and cajoled her way into the spotlight of media headlines.”

Hence, she believes Markle has no plans to return to the Firm. “Meghan is a law unto herself, she believes she can do whatever she wants, whenever she wants as she is always right,” she concluded.

The restrictions of royal life that Markle, allegedly, hates

According to USA Today, Markle may not have fully understood the restrictions of living a royal life.

Before their wedding, there were rumors she found it hard to deal with the palace courtiers. Hence, some of them were not fond of her.

“There’s just something about her I don’t trust,” one high-ranking courtier said. An unnamed family member even called her “Harry’s showgirl.”

“Harry had warned Meghan (early on) that his life was ‘surreal,'” an excerpt from Finding Freedom read. “Even he was blindsided by the kind of (intense) coverage she elicited.”

The royal family is a hierarchy. There are also an age-old customs and traditions that they have to follow. Meghan Markle has an independent approach to life, living the royal life, reportedly frustrated her.
