Meghan Markle has “two reasons” to celebrate this week. Despite the pandemic crisis, the Duchess will reportedly further enjoy her new life in the United States.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have relocated to Los Angeles since their royal exit. While it remains unknown when they will return to the United Kingdom, they are seemingly enjoying the new chapter of their lives outside the British Monarchy.
Since Megxit, the Sussex couple has already launched several new projects and initiatives. Although these are viable reasons to have a celebration, these are not the “milestones” that she will reportedly celebrate this week.
The two main celebrations that she will mark mainly involves her firstborn son, Archie Harrison, according to Hello! magazine.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrate Archie’s first birthday
On May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have celebrated the birthday of their son, Archie Harrison. While it has remained unknown how the family marked the special day, a new photo of the 1-year-old Sussex child just recently emerged.
Reports noted earlier that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will release a new photo of their son. As stated, royal fans and supporters last saw a photo of Archie in December 2019.
Upon the revelation, this has sparked several speculations as to where the new photo will surface. Given that the official Instagram of the Sussex couple is no longer functional, many experts reportedly concluded that Meghan might open a new account to mark her son’s birthday.
Archie Harrison’s latest appearance on social media
While many have become certain about the creation of the new account, this never happened on Archie’s first birthday. Also, no photo of the young royal has surfaced on social media. Instead, a three-minute video of the Queen’s youngest great-grandson emerged through the Save the Children’s social media accounts.

In the rare footage, it has shown Meghan Markle carrying her son while they read Duck! Rabbit!, which is reportedly one of Archie’s “favorite books.” Prince Harry, on the other hand, has not appeared on the footage. Nevertheless, it has appeared that he was the one recording the video.
Sussex family to celebrate Mother’s Day in the United States
Alongside Archie Harrison’s birthday, the second milestone that Meghan Markle will reportedly celebrate is the upcoming Mother’s Day on May 10. This will be the first time that the Duchess will celebrate the day in the United States.
Last year, Meghan Markle marked the special day in the United Kingdom, a few days after she gave birth to Archie. It is worth noting, though, that the U.K. celebrates its Mother’s Day in March.
