Meghan Markle relocated to the United States earlier this year.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain vocal about their views on this year’s presidential election. Weeks before the election day, the Sussex couple repeatedly discussed voter’s rights and suffrage.
Not many people find their activism pleasing. Some even slammed them for doing so, considering that they are still part of the British Royal Family. Several individuals even asked Queen Elizabeth to strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their titles.
Recently, though, the Daily Express reported that netizens are asking a different thing from the Sussex pair. Many of them, who are Trump supporters, urged the former working royals, especially the Duchess, to leave the United States if the incumbent President wins the race.
Meghan Markle said she would leave
Meghan Markle grew up in the United States. She lived in the country before her union with Prince Harry.
In 2016, however, she said that she would leave the country if the then-real estate mogul wins the presidential race against Hillary Clinton. She added that she would stay in Canada, where the cast of Suits films their show.

The Duchess of Sussex did live in the neighboring country for her role in the show. During the same year, she met the royal-born Prince and tied the knot with him two years after.
She consequently relocated to the United Kingdom, where she became a working royal. Earlier this year, though, they relocated back to the U.S. following their exit from the British Monarchy.
Netizens “demanded” Meghan to keep her word
As the election proceeds, many netizens flocked to social media to slam Meghan Markle. Many of the critics asked her to fly out of the country if Donald Trump stays for four more years inside the White House.
Several individuals also described her as “pretentious” for not keeping her promise to leave the United States while Trump is its top leader. One even said that she should learn something from the U.S. President as he kept all of his promises.
Meanwhile, other netizens recalled that aside from Meghan Markle, several other celebrities said they would leave the country if Trump wins the 2016 race. Fox News released a list of some of the names of these stars. It includes Miley Cyrus, Ne-Yo, Amy Schumer, Samuel L. Jackson, Cher, John Stewart, Eddie Griffin, Barbra Streisand, and Snoop Dogg.
