Melania Trump is a hands-on mom to Barron, but it’s not true that she was the only one looking after her son, and he had no nannies.
Melania Trump has been very straight forward when it comes to her priorities; her son Barron comes first. However, it is not true that the First Lady didn’t hire anyone to help her with her son, according to Stephanie Winston Wolkoff in her new book Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship With the First Lady.
Winston and Melania were friends, but they had a falling-out. Wolkoff used to be the First Lady’s advisor.
Melania Trump has a nanny for Barron
Melania Trump didn’t join President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign because he believes that Barron needed a parent. So, the FLOTUS stayed at home for their son.
In a previous interview, she said that she fed and played with Barron, and he had no nannies. Many were impressed that she did it all alone.
However, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff claimed that it wasn’t true. While Melania was hands-on with Barron, she lied about raising him without nannies because she had household staff who helped her.
“Melania has perpetuated a myth that she never hired a nanny when Barron was young and that she waited to start her businesses until he went to school,” Wolkoff wrote as quoted by Yahoo!
She added that Melania had household staff and her mom to watch over Barron. Also, the First Lady was reportedly not the type who socializes with other parents.
“Melania’s playdates were his playdates. Melania didn’t sit around to watch the kids play. Nor did she entertain the mothers who arrived and wanted face time,” she added.
President Donald Trump confirmed Barron’s nanny
In a previous interview with People, Melania and Donald Trump said they had no nannies for Barron.
“I like to be hands-on. I think it’s very important,” Melania said.
“He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time. As you know my husband is traveling all the time.”
In another interview, Melania said that she only started her business when Barron started school because she was a full-time mom.
“I am a full-time mom; that is my first job. The most important job ever. I started my business when he started school,” Melania told Parenting.com.
However, the POTUS confirmed that Barron had a nanny in another interview.
“Yes, there is a young woman, someone who works with Barron,” Trump told The Post.
Barron’s height sparked debates
Meanwhile, Barron is only 14 years old, and he is already taller than his dad. His towering height sparked rumors that he is not Trump’s son.
However, many objected and stressed that the president and Barron look the same. Also, it’s not surprising if he gets taller than Trump because his mom, Melania, is also very tall for a woman.
