Melania Trump made a rare appearance at the White House while sporting a new hair color last week.
While speaking with Express, hair colorist Francesca Dixon talked about the recent changes in the hair color of Melania Trump.
“Melania’s color began very dark at the roots, which dragged down into lighter mid-lengths and ends. Over time Melania’s color has definitely changed little by little. The color of her base root drag gradually became lighter and lighter, which can be spotted in pictures,” Dixon said.
The hair expert said that the small hair color changes of the FLOTUS are much better than drastic changes.
“These small color changes over a long period of time are far better for the hair, as it maintains the hair’s wellbeing and health, and looks much better than a drastic, big color change shock. Having the contrast of the light and dark means Melania has the best of both. The base to add depth, and the brightness to soften her features, which has definitely had an anti-aging effect for her,” she said.
Melania Trump welcomes graduates to the White House
Donald Trump’s wife made a rare public appearance at the White House to welcome the graduates and to honor their achievements. Melania Trump also gave a graduation address.
“It was an honor to address the class of 2020 at the @WhiteHouse yesterday. These students have proven to the entire world that they possess the strength and resilience of the American spirit. Congratulations class 2020!” she tweeted alongside her speech.
Some supporters of the first lady praised her for her efforts to make graduation a memorable event this year amid the pandemic. Others said that those who were at the graduation ceremony were lucky to have been in front of Melania.
FLOTUS draws criticisms
However, there were also a lot of people the criticized the FLOTUS for not asking the graduates to wear masks. Others questioned why there was no social distancing at the venue.
Last week, Melania’s to commemorate National Women’s Health Week was also slammed by her detractors.
“This National Women’s Health Week and beyond, we will continue to invest in women and girl’s social, emotional & physical health. Let’s continue to support and protect their well-being,” she wrote.
However, some people noted the fact that Trump’s husband’s administration cut the spending on women’s health. As of late, Melania Trump hasn’t responded to the criticisms.
