Microsoft Teams update: All the new features
Microsoft is working towards improving the custom layouts in the Teams application. The matter should completely change the way a user presents their content in a conference call.
With the new custom layouts, the feed’s video would be laid on top of a slide deck so that the participants don’t have to choose between watching the slides and the person talking.
According to a report by The Verge, Microsoft collaborated the technology used for Together Mode and Background Blur to achieve the new feature.
However, the virtual break-out rooms’ options will be available before the year ends. It would allow the team to split up in groups within the call, with the presenter jumping in and out of each group.
This feature is handy for educational purposes or virtual activities conducted by the HR Department.
Additionally, Microsoft collaborates with third-party applications to add their functionality seamlessly within the Teams application, making the said application more productive.
