The Killers actor asserted that they sold the wines through posting a video online, and it was an overnight success. The couple initially bought 2,000 bottles because they are not sure if people would buy them.
“You have to do an allotment of cases. You have to pre-order juice. So we were, like, let’s just play it safe,”. “We bought 2,000 cases.”
The couple also mentioned that the promotion of selling the wines was only done through the video posted online. Moreover, they did not expect that they would completely sell their wines online, and they had to buy more.

Talking to Jimmy Fallon, the couple revealed that the wine selling initiative came from having nightly face-time dates with friends. Because of their constant dinners and wine-drinking sessions, they decided to try to sell them and, in return, raise enough funds.
