Milwaukee World Festival announced more headliners for its upcoming Summerfest after revealing a hundred of them months ago.
Milwaukee World Festival will soon defy the COVID-19 pandemic with an exciting Summerfest.
The upcoming Milwaukee World Festival will welcome several A-listers onto the stage.
Since May, the Summerfest named over a hundred performers who will join the largest concert yet in the city since the pandemic began. After canceling it for the first time, it came back with a full-packed guest list to launch the largest music festival in the U.S.
On Tuesday, the organizers added 30 more headliners to the team and unveiled the complete schedule of the music festival.
An exclusive report by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel divulged that the event will be genre-rich since it will welcome diverse performers. Among the new additions include rock bands Manchester Orchestra and Falling in Reverse; pop star Betty Who; and reggae singer Shaggy.
Other headliners that came from the city are Beatallica, Nora Collins, Klassic, and Grace Weber.
The news outlet added that the tickets are now ready to be grabbed at the box office and on its official website, summerfest.com. Attendees may choose between general admission tickets or multi-day general admission passes.
More Details About Milwaukee World Festival 2021
Before releasing the updated information about the Summerfest, the festival named the most popular icons who joined the lineup for the 2021 event.
The list, which they shared in May, saw famous rosters from the music industry — from Run The Jewels to Shaquille O’Neal (DJ Diesel).
The president and CEO of the Milwaukee World Festival Don Smiley shared a statement and conveyed the excitement of holding the 53-year-old event again.
“We could not be more excited to unveil the lineup for Summerfest. From first-timers, including Chance the Rapper, Miley Cyrus, and Run the Jewels, to Fest favorites including Dave Matthews Band, T-Pain, Styx and Chris Stapleton, our lineup continues to be one of the most diverse and unique in the industry,” he said.
Before the pandemic came, the team held the event for 11 days from June to July of each year. For this year, the festival will be pushed through on September 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18. The postponement of the event from its original scheduled date allowed the government to conduct vaccine rollout in the community.
As of the writing, there is still a sudden surge of COVID-19 cases in the country due to the Delta variant. It remains unknown whether the Summerfest will face postponements again.
