‘Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens’ now available; everything new in the DLC

Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens is now out, and it brings in new content for players to enjoy in the dungeon crawler. As this is the first DLC for the game, players can expect to get in on some challenging dungeons inside the jungle.

Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens is just one of two planned DLCs for the game. There’s a handful of things that come with the add-on, so players should jump in on the fun as soon as they can. Here’s what to expect in the DLC.

New dungeons

As expected, there will be several new dungeons arriving with the DLC, and they will be jungle themed. In total, there are three story missions for players to finish. On top of this, a free update along with the DLC adds the Lower Temple Dungeon, adding more ways to enjoy the game.

New mobs and a boss

Since there will be new dungeons in the game, players can also expect to see some new faces and enemies as they go scouring through the new locale. The new mobs include the Leapleaf and the Whisperer, which offer a fresh new challenge to the player. These new mobs will come with their own unique gimmicks and abilities.

As for the boss, the ultimate goal of the Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens DLC is the Jungle Abomination. This guy is going to bring all sorts of pain to players, so it’s best everyone grinds out the new levels before trying out the DLC’s main bad guy.

New loot

The new challenges are going to come with a fresh set of rewards, of course. Players can expect to see a ton of new weapons and armor to collect.

Moreover, there will be some new Artifacts for players to add to their collection. This means it’s time to grind more in the game.

The DLC content will be locked, so those who don’t have Jungle Awakens won’t have access to the new loot. However, they can get the new items and access the new levels that come with the free update.

Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens is just the first DLC for the game. The next one will be Creeping Winter, and it’s going to add the same amount of content to the game more or less. We’ve yet to know when the next DLC drops, but it will most likely arrive sometime this year.
