Miranda Lambert did not divorce her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin, just four months after their wedding despite reports.
Miranda Lambert found a new love in Brendan McLoughlin after her divorce from Blake Shelton. There are rumors claiming that they divorced just months after exchanging “I do’s,” which are not true.
Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin divorce rumors
Star published a report at about this time last year claiming that Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin’s marriage only lasted for four months. The country singer allegedly left her second husband because it was a mistake marrying him in the first place.
“Marrying Brendan was the biggest mistake of her life,” a so-called insider said.
The House That Built Me, singer, allegedly splits her time between New York, where McLoughlin lives and Nashville, where she also owns a house. Lamber reportedly found the arrangement tiring and wished that they both move to Nashville full-time.
The unnamed source added that Lambert’s friends feared she would lose all of her money following the divorce. They were concerned that the couple had no prenup.
Divorce rumor debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the rumors for several reasons.
First, Miranda Lambert shared a photo of her with Brendan McLoughlin just days after the report was published.
Second, Lambert’s rep denied it. Lambert’s spokesperson considered the story “completely made-up.”
“Not one iota is true,” the rep added. “They are happy and together!”
First wedding anniversary
Miranda Lambert and Branden McLoughlin are still very much together. In fact, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in January.
The Bluebird singer commemorated the event by posting a wedding photo on Instagram. She also included a short but sweet message for her husband in the caption.
“1 year. I’m so happy to walk through this life with you. Thank you Brendan for making me the proudest wife and stepmom. You are the reason for all my new smile lines. I love you. #MrsMcLoughlin,” Lambert wrote.
Miranda’s husband is her new bodyguard
Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, has retired from the NYPD earlier this year. According to Us Weekly, he resigned from his job as a New York City police officer. Detective Sophia Mason, a New York Police Department DCPI spokesperson, confirmed it.
McLoughlin is now part of Lambert’s security team. In July 2019, many noticed him wearing an earpiece and scanning the crowd near the stage.
Another onlooker said that McLoughlin monitored the fans and checked their bags. Some fans also heard him asking them if they had anything to sign for his wife.
