No other console has a history more colorful and diverse than Nintendo. The evidence lies on the Nintendo Switch Online which has now over 80 classic games available. On May 20, 2020, Nintendo has revealed four additional games for its subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online.
Additional games
Nintendo will add four more games to its subscription service. Nintendo Switch Online lets its subscribers play their newest games over the internet and provide a whole library of free SNES and NES titles.
The upcoming additions include three SNES games and one NES game. The NES game will be Tecmo’s legendary action game Rygar. On the other hand, the SNES additions are Natsume’s sci-fi shooting game Wild Guns, Panel de Pon, and Jaleco’s Operation Logic Bomb.
The most noteworthy game among the four is Panel de Pon. This will be the game’s first release outside Japan.
The game is a classic puzzle game designed by the mythical Gunpei Yokoi. Outside Japan, the game was called Tetris Attack and its fantasy-inspired characters were replaced with characters from Yoshi’s Island.

These titles are just a few of the hundreds of free and fun games available when subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online. For players who have already used of the free trial, an additional 7-day trial is again available.
Members of the subscription service can access the growing lists of SNES and NES games including legendary titles such as Super Mario Bros. 3 and a few original Legend of Zelda games.
The online subscription service also provides essential game features. For example, Animal Crossing New Horizons players will have the capability of visiting a friend’s island and even invite them back.
Online compatible games such as Pokemon Sword and Shield, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Tetris 99 require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription for players to fully experience what the game has to offer.
