Most notable PS5 launch titles that make the console worth it

The PlayStation 5 launches on Nov. 12 in the US while it’s on Nov. 19 in the rest of the world. The console itself is amazing, but are the PS5 launch titles worth getting the next-gen on day one?

There aren’t a lot of PS5 launch titles yet, but there are a few that have fans giddy over the next-gen. While the console is backwards compatible with the PS4, these PS5 titles make the console worth getting immediately.

Godfall is Gearbox Publishing’s take on Destiny. It’s a loot-based RPG where melee combat is king. Recent footage from the game suggests an action-packed title that’s waiting to be explored. It’s not just about melee-combat, but the game introduces other mechanics that increase its complexity.

For instance, players will have to change their loadout depending on what world they are in. The game features various worlds based on the elements, and players will have to take this into consideration.

Demon’s Souls

The Dark Souls series is one of the most iconic games now, but the first game didn’t get as much attention. The good news is that FromSoftware is going to give everybody a chance to relive the experience. They are going to launch the Demon’s Souls remake on day one and, it’s going to be a blast.

The Demon’s Souls remake will be one of the toughest games on the PS5 at launch. It’s also one of the few PS5 launch titles that sure to draw fans. Despite being the exact same game years ago, this is called a remake as the developers built the game from the ground-up.

Devil May Cry V: Definitive Edition

Capcom is going to relaunch Devil May Cry on the PS5 with updated graphics. The game features upgrades like ray tracing to make the visuals crisper. Moreover, there will be a new DLC that’s focused on Vergil.

This relaunch is a great opportunity for fans to get to the game if they missed it the first time around. Even those who have played it might want to get it again for the new DLC.

These PS5 launch titles may not seem much, but they are sure to get players through during the games’ first months. If players don’t think these are reason enough to buy into the next-gen, then next year’s lineup includes God of WarHogwart’s Legacy, and Horizon Forbidden West.
