Ms. Marvel actress and newcomer Iman Vellani are shining as Kamala Khan in BossLogic’s new concept art.
Artist and creator BossLogic recently shared on his Twitter a fan art showing Iman Vellani, aka MCU’s Ms. Marvel.
The newly cast actress is certainly looking almost comic accurate. However, how she appears in her own Disney Plus show will be interesting to watch out.
Marvel Studios always makes minor changes in how the superhero costumes look on-screen in the movies.
Just recently, the news broke out that Vellani will play the role of a first-ever Muslim superhero in the MCU.
Moreover, as of now, no extra detail is available on who she is. The only thing known is that she’s a budding filmmaker.
No images and biographical content is there on the internet. Maybe Marvel did that on purpose, to remove almost any information related to her.
Ms. Marvel cast and release date
— BossLogic (@Bosslogic) October 1, 2020
Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American teen hailing from New Jersey. Her first appearance in 2014 as Ms. Marvel made headlines, being a Muslim character.
So far, there’s no knowledge about who will be there alongside her in the Disney Plus series.
However, it is known that Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Meera Menon will be directing the show.
No release date is out yet, and it’s obvious too. COVID-19 has forced everything to shut down while causing a long pause overproductions.
Marvel Studios is no exception, and many of its projects are facing significant delays now.
Scheduled movies and shows won’t be coming on time. And those that are yet to get a date will even take longer to arrive.
Although even after considering the pandemic situation, it’s certain that Ms. Marvel may come out as early as 2022. Things will improve by that time, hopefully.
MCU projects coming in 2021
The recent reveal of a new slate by Marvel Studios clearly states that Black Widow will arrive in May next year. Plus, Shag-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals will arrive late before the end of 2021.
Coming to streaming service and shows this year-end are The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision.
She-Hulk, Loki, Moon Knight, Nick Fury series, and Ms. Marvel are yet to be announced for an official schedule.
Then, fans will have to wait longer before they witness anything from MCU’s Phase four line-up.
Although, periodical leaks will keep coming in the meantime to make them excited about the cast and story of any future project.
