First leaked set photos have revealed actress Iman Vellani aka “Ms. Marvel” in a “homemade” costume. The Disney Plus show is in production now.
According to Comicbook Resource, the first set of photos provides an exact look at Iman Vellani as “Ms. Marvel”. The actress plays Kamala Khan in the upcoming Disney Plus series, under the MCU. However, the set photos are showing her in a homemade suit, instead of the original one.
The pictures, first leaked on a Twitter account, are showing Vellani in a Captain Marvel-inspired suit. That also means that her character Kamala is a big fan of Carol Danvers. And that’s quite obvious as well.

“Ms. Marvel” Disney Plus MCU series details
The newly leaked pictures show that Kamala is having a Halloween time, probably because the costume she’s wearing has a smaller size since she’s a teen girl.
Back to Vellani, then just a while ago, she was cast as Ms. Marvel in the Disney Plus show in the MCU. Marvel Studios always gives chances to unknown faces in their big-budget projects. And regarding the upcoming shows also, they have a similar strategy. Because what matters is the performance and relatable quotient of the actor with the character.
Speaking of the newcomer herself, Iman Vellani has been a member of the Next Wave Committee at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival. She doesn’t have any other credits to her when acting in any show or a film. But it won’t matter after her MCU series eventually arrives in the future. Fans will remember her debuting in the biggest franchise if she justifies her selection with a great performance.
The Disney Plus show is helmed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, known for Bad Boys for Life. There will be several other directors like Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, on different episodes.
Upcoming installments in the future of MCU
Meanwhile, the 2021 slate does promise one thing: the ultimate beginning of phase four. It will start with WandaVision in January and then probably with Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, Black Widow might release earlier than that show. Then the year will progress with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The end of next year will see Eternals‘ release and perhaps the third part of the Spider-Man franchise starring Tom Holland.
As of now, Mrs. Marvel’s fans will surely get excited after getting the first look at the Marvel series. It’s scheduled to arrive at some point in 2021.
