The hit manga series kicked off in 2014, My Hero Academia, topped and dominated the top 10 graphic novel sales for 2020, overtaking several Marvel and DC Comics!
The hit anime My Hero Academia beat famous western comics such as Batman, The Justice League, Spider-Man, and The Avengers.
Many North American fans of graphic novels will jump to Marvel and DC Comics’ creations when they think about the highest sellers. However, the latest release of the 2020 sales of the medium will surprise fans.
More to the anime’s success, Kohei Horikoshi’s franchise even managed to stop them from hitting the top ten! Fans are now looking to catch up on the manga’s latest stories with the series readying the arrival of its fifth season this spring.
The end of the manga’s “War Arc”
The heart-wrenching battle of the anime’s War Arc has currently come to a close. The finale saw the heroes licking their wounds following their fight against Shigaraki. And also his insanely large band of villains from the Paranormal Liberation Front.
Furthermore, although the heroes did win the battle, it was a hollow victory considering their number of casualties. And as a specific prison break began immediately following the bloody war’s conclusion, the villains have not missed a beat.
It was in 2014 when My Hero Academia‘s manga first arrived. Among the Weekly Shonen Jump, the Shonen series has wasted little time rising the famous series ladder.
