As the coming of My Hero Academia Season 5 is already confirmed, it’s expected to continue where the previous season left off. If it follows the manga series’ story, it may begin with the joint training arc.
However, there are still a lot of questions on what will happen in My Hero Academia Season 5. Will Deku be the ninth? Will he acquire the Black Whip? Also, will Fumikage get back the Black Fallen Angel?
The previous season finale
In the previous season finale, Endeavor managed to defeat the genetically enhanced “nomu” monster. The tension was high as his fans and peers watched from the sidelines, making the finale a dramatic and emotional one.
However, the episode didn’t end there. After the credits, it showed Deku having a nightmare. In his dream, he saw a long line of people, who fans and manga-readers alike believed to be the past One For All users.
One of them approached Deku and directly asked if he’s “the ninth.” He then woke up, grasp for air, and a surprising new ability was glowing on his hand. It then cut off with a title card that read “to be continued 5th season. “

My Hero Academia Season 5 possible plot
According to Game Spot, if My Hero Academia Season 5 follows the manga series, it may pick up the Joint Training arc. Here, Midoriya and the rest of the class 1-A will join 1-B to level up and hone their abilities.
It may also feature some parts of the Meta Liberation Army arc, which will touch on the backstory of Tomura Shigaraki and the new moves his crew, The League of Villains, made.
Next Alerts added that My Hero Academia Season 5 would also feature more about the different quirks. Here, Deku will acquire the Black Whip, and Fumikage will get the Black Fallen Angel.
Season 5 release date
The show’s official Twitter page confirmed My Hero Academia’s return.
“The fifth season of Hiroaka comes!” the tweet reads. “My Hero Academia TV anime 5th production decision! New visuals are also lifted!”
However, it remains to be seen when the new installment will come out. As the COVID-19 pandemic still grapples the world, there may be a delay in the anime series’ production.
Studio Bones has yet to announce My Hero Academia Season 5’s release date, but it may be out anytime next year. However, fans should only take these assumptions with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet.
