‘My Hero Academia’ Season 5: New trailer, announcement hint at movie connection

My Hero Academia Season 5 will soon be out, and a new trailer teases what fans will see. The clip defies the talk about a recap episode, giving a glimpse of an original story.

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 0 will feature an original story that will hint at the third MHA movie’s plotline. As Bakugo, Deku, Shoto, and other Class 1-A members are fighting as one; it is truly a must-see.

A new trailer

The new trailer shows a series of action-packed scenes between Class 1-A and Class 1-B. The 1-A students join forces to defeat the other class, joined by Class 1-C student Hitoshi Shinso.

He will even out the numbers, giving Class 1-B the hand they needed.

According to Epic Dope, Class 1-C is known for rescuing people and minimizing damage, but Shinso will show what he got when fighting.

Another Class 1-C student, Neito Monoma or the Phantom Thief, will show his great combat abilities against Class 1-A.

A hint about the movie

Along with the release of My Hero Academia Season 5 trailer is the update for the third MHA movie.

“My Hero Academia Season 5 finally starts in 1 week! Ep 0 is an original episode!” Anime TV Japan tweeted. “A special info about the movie 3 that will be talked DURING the broadcast of Ep 0 and not “in Ep 0” During the 30 min time slot when the show is being broadcast on Nippon TV.”

The said movie update will be out during the premiere episode’s broadcast and not within the episode itself.

As this is said to be an original episode, fans hope it will not be filled with filler sequences.

Premiere episode synopsis

Meanwhile, My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 0 will be titled “Everyone Dispatch! Class 1-A!

“When Izuku and the others were spending their morning in the 1A classroom, there’s an announcement that they’ll have an ’emergency training,’” the synopsis read via Comicbook. “The topic is ‘villains are infiltrating UA High School.’ This time, the ones who will act as villains are Hado and Tamaki.”

“While struggling in their fight, each and every one of 1A students is making the best use of their quirks,” it continued. “And they fight with everything they have.”

The new season may start with a new training exercise, which will be its primary focus for its first cour.

It will be adapting the Joint Training arc, pitting Class 1-A and Class 1-B against each other.

My Hero Academia Season 5 will premiere on Saturday, March 27, on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
