My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission will introduce a couple of new heroes who may help Deku and company fight off the new villainous group.
With the many great men the franchise has, these two will have their own distinct characters. The official website of My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission has unveiled the new characters coming to the film.
By the looks of it, it will explore different countries and Egypt and Singapore will bring their two native Pro Heroes forward.
The Two New Heroes
According to Comicbook, fans are about to meet the Egyptian Pro Hero Papyrus, whose real name is Salaam. He has been protecting his country and his strange aura makes the citizens “feel at ease.”
Anyhow, no one seems to see Salaam nowadays. He possesses a pro-flexible quirk that is similar to Edgeshot.
Alternatively, the Singaporean hero is named Big Red Dot and is based on the Merlion folk creature. As a Singaporean himself, he loves his country’s cuisine most.
He has the Big Wave quirk that lets him release a lot of water from his mouth, just like the Merlion. However, he can wield his power anytime, out of nowhere.
Salaam and Big Red Dot may help the Class 1-A students on the battlefield in My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. Some of these young heroes, like Kaminari, Mineta and others, will be stationed in Egypt, while Momo and Tokage will be in Singapore.
The main heroes, on the other hand, will stay in the fictional world of Oseon.

The Movie’s Main Villain
Meanwhile, aside from the new heroes, the film has already introduced its official villain, Flect Turn, Coming Soon noted. One Piece and Gintama voice actor Kazuya Nakai will be the voice behind the said character.
Flect Turn is the leader of the HUMANIZE organization that threatens the world. The manga series creator Kohei Horikoshi himself designed the new antagonist.
In addition, the film will introduce a new character, named Rody Soul, who secretly distrusts the heroes. However, he will still work with Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki to fight off HUMANIZE, which wants to destroy every person who has a quirk.
In the film, the Pro Heroes around the world will ask the UA Academy to send in its heroes-in-training to help them and eventually form a world-class selected hero team. Now, it is up to them to save the people who have quirks and the world in general.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission will release on Aug. 6 in Japan. Its international release date is yet to be revealed, so fans still need to wait for an official announcement for it.
