NCT domination: ‘RESONANCE Pt. 2’ surpassed a million copies sold

On December 23, the latest NCT album, RESONANCE Pt. 2, has marked another achievement for selling a million copies.

NCT now earns the title of “double million-sellers!”

NCT fans were tossed above the clouds after learning that the newest album of the 23-member group, RESONANCE Pt. 2, is making a tremendous record after selling 1,217,122 copies since its release in November.

It can be recalled that on December 4, the final song of the second album of NCT, RESONANCE, was released. The said track combines Make a Wish, 90’s Love, Work It, and Raise the Roof.

The said songs are from NCT’s second full album into one piece of music. The final song was even made more special as all 23 members participated in the single.

Simultaneously, they showcase a powerful and energetic performance.

The continuous streak of the “RESONANCE” series

This mesmerizing feat comes after the impressive sales of NCT’s previous album RESONANCE Pt. 1. Recently, the album recorded a total sales of 815,628 copies in Korea.

This is in addition to 400,470 copies sold abroad, such countries as China and the United States. As of October 18, the total number of album sales of the group surpassed 1,216,098 copies.

Furthermore, On December 10, NCT’s second studio album, RESONANCE Pt. 1, received an Official Million Certifications From Gaon.

 
 
 
 
 

This is along with BLACKPINK’s first full-length album, THE ALBUM, and SEVENTEEN’s special album “; [Semicolon].”

The staggering achievements of NCT did not stop there. Just this December 22, RESONANCE Pt. 2 reached 1,463,798 copies sold.

RESONANCE Pt. 1 and RESONANCE Pt. 2, in total, achieved mesmerizing sales of 2,680,920 copies.

More to celebrate for NCT

Moreover, the second studio album of NCT 127, titled Neo Zone, released in March, has recorded 1,481,039 sales so far this year.

At the same time, NCT Dream sold 674,928 copies for its Reload released in April.

Meanwhile, the studio album of WayV, Awaken The World, released in June, also made a mesmerizing record. It garnered 280,133 copies sales.

This brings the combined total sales of all of the group’s albums this year to 5,117,020 copies as of December 22.
