‘Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered’ might come soon

Electronic Arts will likely release Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered soon. If several tweets and listings are credible, the game will come out on October 5.

The Need For Speed Twitter account posted several screenshot images. In it, the numbers 510 plastered all over the place, likely indicating the date of October 5. At the same time, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered also received a rating in Korea this week.

The game remains unannounced by EA, which can be a marketing move. Even then, everything on the posts suggests a title release will be upon gamers soon.

NFS: Hot Pursuit sold well

NFS: Hot Pursuit came out in 2010 and was one of the most successful games in the franchise. It received numerous awards and was a commercial success from the get-go. Hot Pursuit generated as many as 5 million copies sold by 2011.

Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee published a rating for the game in September. Even in June, Venturebeat detailed how EA will release additional titles for the Switch next year. The games are then listed on Amazon UK for November 13.

Hot Pursuit follows the player going around the fictional Seacrest country. The entire locale is based upon the general Pacific Northwest and California. It received critical acclaim from reviewers, getting 10/10 scores across the board.

Hot Pursuit offered many features

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered would work well for the current gaming landscape. It’s the first title for NFS to have an Autolog option. Autolog is a social interaction system that allowed the head to head matches among friends.

Earlier this year, Electronic Arts announced giving back dev duties to Criterion Games. The current devs at Ghost Games will get a restructuring once they complete their projects. Ghost handled the last four titles in the franchise.

The next-gen EA games like NFS will offer “a seamless immersion which gets you into the race in a matter of seconds,” according to EA in June.

Next-gen graphics will be perfect for the Need For Speed titles. Hot Pursuit in 4K or 8K would look fantastic, and PC ray-tracing would only make it better. The game will get quality of life improvements and smoother movement.

Whatever Need For Speed game is coming soon, fans will surely be happy about it. Even then, a remaster of Hot Pursuit makes the most sense so far.

Fans will know soon of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is coming or not. More developments will come over the next few days, especially with October 5 closing by.
