Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered will become a part of EA Play and Xbox Game Pass soon, with players expecting the game around later this month.
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered came out November last year, featuring cross-platform multiplayer support. These include the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and even the Switch. Now, the EA racing game will come to the Game Pass on June 24.
Hot Pursuit includes all post-launch content
Hot Pursuit originally came out in 2010, hailed as one of the best racing titles for that year. The game received great reviews at the time, apart from its Wii version. The remastered version received mixed reviews from critics, with mid-70s across the board.
Hot Pursuit Remastered came from Stellar Entertainment, the studio known for Burnout Paradise Remastered. Criterion Games also worked on the development of the title with Stellar.
The game will include all its downloadable and post-launch content as part of the base title. These include Super Sports Pack, Lamborghini Untamed, and Porsche Unleashed.
Hot Pursuit also added the ability to change colors for Racer vehicles. Around February this year, it also added the ability to add custom wraps on the vehicle. The latter feature is brand new to the entire title and did not exist on the original 2010 version.
EA racer comes to Xbox Game Pass with other titles
Together with the updated visuals and support, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, the game going to Xbox Game Pass and EA Play opens it further. Its various quality of life improvements are fantastic for players on these platforms.
Since November last year, Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscribers also receive EA Play subscriptions at no extra charge. These allow them to play the library’s extensive back catalogue.
By around March this year, EA Play added into the Xbox Game Pass for PC. This comes following a three-month delay on implementation, but everything went nicely ever since.
May added a few extra titles into both EA Play and the Xbox Game Pass. These include Knockout City from Mario Kart Live dev Velan Studios. FIFA 21 is also another one that came last month.
Xbox Game Pass is getting a few new extra titles, including Darkest Dungeon, Backbone, For Honor, and Wild at Heart. A few other games, however, are also leaving the Games Pass. These include titles like Ace Combat 7 and Wizard of Legend.
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered will come to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass on June 24. More new titles will receive an announcement on the Xbox and Bethesda showcase this June 13.
