The annual earnings of Netflix revealed that the Spanish thriller Money Heist has surpassed the documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness in viewership.
In order to keep themselves entertained amid the lockdown caused by coronavirus, people all across the globe are binge-watching various films and web series. A huge number of that are on streaming networks such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and the like.
With this at hand, distinct streaming platforms are doubling their efforts to take their game to a whole new level.

Netflix made it apparent that it is still the dominant streaming site. Based on its eye-popping numbers for its quarterly earnings report, adding 16 million new subscribers to its list.
Netflix’s revenue has increased to $5.76 billion which is more than 27% of the revenue compared to the same time of the year in 2019. Netflix certainly finds itself in good shape in an economic environment that has seen giants like Disney, Amazon, and Sony bleeding money and cutting workers.
This success owe a small part of thanks to the Spanish series Money Heist, as well as wild documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

In accordance with Netflix annual earnings report, the tiger documentary series was a major draw for the streamer in the first quarter. On the other hand, the Spanish thriller, brought in a bigger worldwide audience.
As Money Heist fans were patiently waiting for the Spanish drama series’ fresh episodes, after it eventually landed, people all over the world started watching the entire season. Reportedly, about 65 million viewers have watched the series during the first four weeks of Money Heist’s season 4.
On the other hand, Tiger King drew 64 million member accounts choosing to watch the first few minutes of the show – long enough to indicate that the viewing choice was intentional.
Despite of all the hype surrounding Tiger King and the well-deserved popularity of Money Heist, both fell short to the success of Henry Cavill’s The Witcher. The December 20 launch of the first season of the fantasy drama had 76 million households stuck at home for Christmas.
