Elite cast members confirmed that the upcoming season of the series would feature a brand new cast.
Netflix’s original series Elite has become highly prominent since its 2018 release on the streaming platform. Even with a million other choices on Netflix, this new, alluring, and whipsmart entry to the teen genre proved that it is deserving of the spotlight.
In just three years, the Spanish teen drama Elite has already secured three seasons. The fact that it has mostly garnered positive reviews and raked a lot of viewers may have played to the fast renewal of the series.
Elite’s recent season three premiere detonated on Netflix and made fans long for the arrival of the fourth season.
Renewal status of Elite season 4
As of press time, Netflix has not yet made the announcement about the release of season four. However, looking at Elite’s worldwide viewership and rating, it would be logical for Netflix to give the green light.
Considering the fact that Netflix renews a show basing on a significant number of viewers, there is no doubt that the network will soon be announcing the renewal of Elite.

While Netflix has not yet confirmed this, a Spanish publication has spilled that Netflix is currently in the pre-production stages for both seasons four and five of the series. In addition to that, cast members Miguel Bernardeu (Guzmán) and Itzan Escamilla (Samuel) have been teasing season 4 on social media already.
On the off chance that season four is in production, fans can expect it to drop either early or late 2021.
Elite Season 4 cast
Reportedly, Elite season three is the final season that features the main cast of the previous installment. The upcoming season will mostly showcase a new cast.
Georgina Amoros, who plays Cayetana, confirmed the news. In a video, the actress explained,
“It’s a season where the cycle is completed. Another one starts. Get your tissues ready because you will need them. It’s a very complete season.”
Alvaró Rico, who played Polo added,
“It’s the definitive ending to the evolution of the characters.”
In other words, fans will have to say goodbye to the old faces they saw in the past seasons.
This include Samu (Itzan Escamilla), Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau), Lu (Danna Paola), Polo (Álvaro Rico), Carla (Ester Expósito), Nadia (Mina El Hammani), Ander (Arón Piper), Omar (Omar Shana), Nano (Jaime Lorente), Rebeca (Claudia Salas), Valerio (Jorge López) and Cayetana (Georgina Amorós).
Elite season 4 storyline
Details are scarce regarding the plot of the Elite’s season four. However, one thing is for sure, it will veer away from the previous plots of the season.
It will most likely start another story featuring new teenagers. Also, whether the story is still set in Las Encinas or not remains uncertain.
