Netizens want EXO’s Park Chan-yeol out in SBS’s ‘Laws of the Jungle’

After the SBS’s Laws of the Jungle in Ulleung-do and Dokdo revealed its full lineup of cast members, netizens are now calling for EXO’s Chanyeol to withdraw from the casting!

It seems that the netizens are not forgetting the controversies EXO’s Chanyeol was wrapped lately. Much more to their disappointment, the netizens show no signs of giving the idol another chance!

Earlier on December 8, the Allkpop media outlet revealed the upcoming special season of Laws of the Jungle. 

SBS announced that the show would be featuring the treasured islands of Ulleung-do and Dokdo. These two islands of South Korea are the country’s national pride.

The new season of the episode will also mark the first time that a variety program will explore Dokdo’s underwater territories. Chief Kim Byung Man will lead the program.

The hate resurged once again

After learning that EXO’s Chanyeol is part of the show’s second half casting, netizens are outraged. With the idol’s recent cheating controversy, netizens call for the EXO member to withdraw from the program.

Requests flooded the online message board for SBS’s Laws of the Jungle. This includes suggestions such as “I don’t want to see celebrities who have controversial private lives.”

Others say, “Please edit Chanyeol out of the broadcast,” and “Please make him withdraw.”

The star-studded cast of “Laws of the Jungle”

The first half of Laws of the Jungle will be held in Ulleung-do. Comedian Park Soo Hong will be joining Kim Byung Man along with chef Lee Jong Kook, and actor Oh Jong Hyuk.

Part of the journey is Song Jin Woo, Lee Sang Yi, and Oh My Girl’s Arin.

Furthermore, the show’s second half will be featuring the island of Dokdo. Comedian Park Mi Sun, actress Go Jun Hee, Julien Kang, musician Gary, and EXO’s Chanyeol will explore the treasured island.

As of this moment, Laws of the Jungle‘s producers and Chanyeol’s label SM Entertainment have yet to respond. The Ulleung-do episode of Laws of the Jungle premieres this weekend on December 12 at 8:55 PM KST.
