The official DLC pack for Cyberpunk 2077 might be away now, but a new leak has reportedly revealed a key detail about it.
As per the leak, Cyberpunk 2077 will have close to 17 DLC packs!
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ DLC: What to expect?
If the latest information is anything to go by, then the CDPR release might be the next big game from the Polish developer.
The newest leak from an insider suggests that there will be around 17 DLC packs for CP77. It also means that it will, in a way, match the scale of The Witcher 3 in terms of getting multiple DLCs.
A Reddit user named u/Saint-Pirate shared this new detail.
He mentioned that his speculation is based on the game’s text files and leaked source code. Up to 17 items are currently rumored to arrive in the form of free DLCs, according to u/Saint-Pirate.
On the other hand, fans have also developed their ideas and theories about this news.
The DLCs with numbers 1, 3, 13, and 17 all have the letters “wp.” And it could mean “weapon pack.”
Furthermore, as per Forbes, DLC numbered 3 and 4 might also have something interesting. They have a codename of “kab01” and “quartz” that could refer to a new gig in Kabuki Market.
Then there is a pack, numbered 6, with a codename of “apart.” It may simply mean added customizations for the apartment.
Additionally, the release period of the DLCs might not be far as well. Because currently, Cyberpunk 2077 makers seem to be happy with its performance fixes.
Thus, the free expansions may begin arriving later this year or just before that.
