Will the iPhone 12 series launch on October 13?
One of the most anticipated questions in the world of technology is – when will the iPhone 12 series launch?
During an earnings call last month, Apple announced a delay in the launch of its flagship phones. However, there have been several leaks suggesting the launch date of the iPhone 12.
Today, a new leak comes from the legit tipster Jon Prosser. This suggests that the iPhone 12 series will indeed launch on October 13. Prosser also mentioned the start date of pre-orders and store availability.
In the same tweet, he also mentioned, “Apple’s first shipment of final iPhone 12 units is going out to distributers on October 5th.” He additionally shared some more details about the upcoming mobile device as well as the iPhone 12 Mini.
As repeatedly reported, all 2020 iPhones are expected to be equipped with OLED screens and 5G. The Pro models will support more 5G frequency bands and have a better camera.
Instead of just three, Apple is expected to launch four iPhones this year. The variants include the iPhone 12 Pro, Pro Max, and the smallest iPhone 12 Mini.
Will there be an iPhone Mini?
As of now, we still don’t have the final date and line up. However, there are lots of leaks and rumors claiming that we will see an iPhone 12 Mini on October 13.
As reported by Indian Express, the marketing name for the 5.4-inch mobile is indeed said to be the iPhone 12 Mini. It is also said to come in three storage options, including 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
The iPhone 12 Mini might eventually take the place of the iPhone SE. The original SE and its 2nd gen have been widely praised for their value, tried-and-tested design, and pocketable screen sizes.
The mini variant would have a larger display than both SE models but could be smaller than the second-generation because of slimmer bezels. If rumors are right, the iPhone 12 Mini will have an industrial design similar to that of the iPhone 4 and 5.
